You probably already have an idea of what you'd like to shoot. Perhaps you have a cool new Halloween costume or a beautiful new outfit that deserves the star treatment. Perhaps you want to document an important milestone, such an anniversary, birthday or graduation. Maybe you came across a cool photo of someone else, and you'd like to do something similar.

Maybe you just want to treat yourself to something fun. Our creative team can help you design a shoot exclusively for you to showcase your unique taste and personality.

Once we've decided upon a shoot idea, we'll decide on a budget that works for you and select a day and time that fits your schedule. Let us know your wants and needs, and we will work with you to create a stunning collection of art that will wow you.

On the day of your shoot, bring water and any snacks you may need to get you through the duration of your shoot.

Wherever you like! We offer both in-studio sessions or on-location shoots at a local venue of your choice for no addional charge. (Be aware that some venues may charge for photography sessions. If so, you will be required to pay the venue in advance or on the day of your shoot, which we are happy to arrange for you if you wish.)

Our studio is small, but mighty, and we can do a lot in our space. However, depending on the needs of your shoot, a larger studio may be required for an additional fee, which we can discuss when you book your shoot.

We are based in Austin, TX, so keep in mind that travel fees may apply for venues outside of the greater Austin area.

Always! 24 - 48 hours after your shoot, you will receive, via email or a direct link, an invitation to view a gallery of all the unedited photos we take during your shoot. You will then select which photos you'd like edited.

However many you'd like! Depending on which session you choose, you are guaranteed a flat amount of 5 fully edited photos or 50 lightly edited photos per each hour of shooting. For example, if you book a two-hour portrait session, you will receive 10 fully edited photos. You have the option of purchasing additional photos at the cost of $25 per single photo* or additional packages of 5 photos for $100 per package.

24 - 48 hours after your session, you will receive, via email or a direct link, an invitation to view a gallery of all the photos we take during your shoot. You will then select which photos you'd like edited.

1 - 2 weeks after you finalize your selection, you will receive your fully edited photos. (This timeframe may vary based on current demand, but if that's the case, we will let you know when you book your session.) If you need your photos by a specific date, we recommend booking at least 4 - 6 weeks in advance of that date to ensure timely delivery, or 8+ weeks in advance if you wish to order prints.

We may charge a rush order fee if you need your photos in less than 1 - 2 weeks, but we are always happy to accomodate your timeframe as long as you let us know prior to booking your session.

Once you are satisfied, you will be able to download the images from your gallery, and they're yours to keep forever.

When you book your photo session, a 50% deposit will be assessed to hold your slot. It is non-refundable, but can be applied to a re-scheduled shoot if you must cancel for any reason.

The remainder of the payment will be required 24 hours prior to your shoot. We accept cash, credit card, PayPal, VenMo and CashApp.

If an on location photo session must be rescheduled due to inclement weather, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule at a date and time that is convenient for you and within your desired timeframe for the receipt of your final images. If no reasonable effort can be made, any fees paid will be returned upon request and your deposit may be applied to a session rescheduled for a later date.

Deposits are non-refundable. If you must cancel a session due to unforseen circumstances, your deposit may be applied to a rescheduled session. Any remaining fees paid prior to a session will be returned upon request. Please note that any fees paid with a credit card can only be refunded minus the surcharges issued by the payment processing company.

If, due to rare and unusual circumstances, Viper Vee Photography must cancel your session, all deposits and fees will be refunded immediately if you choose not to reschedule.

At this time, in order to keep our prices low, we do not have a make-up artist or hair stylist on staff. However, we do have a make-up artist on call who can assist you. We are happy to schedule her for your shoot!

At the moment, we have a small selection of headdresses, dresses and props you can choose to rent for a small fee. Soon we will have an online gallery for you to select from, but in the meantime, feel free to chat with us about what we have! In addition, some props, including digital backdrops, can be added digitally after your session during the post-session editing process at no extra cost to you.

Otherwise, you will need to bring your own outfits and/or props.

Of course! We recommend booking at least an hour per costume, so if you'd like to be photographed in more than one costume, we recommend booking 2 - 3 hours, depending on how many outfits you have.

We do, although we will require a $50 deposit for these kind of shoots, as this allows us to weed out any non-serious inquiries. This deposit can then be put towards the cost of your session and will be refunded as long as you cancel your session within 24 hours of your shoot.

We will be really honest here: by their very nature, photography shoots aren't always the most comfortable. A lot of time it involves shooting with a stranger in a unfamiliar place while holding positions that may feel awkward or unnatural under lights that might feel hot or too bright.

However, the team at Viper Vee has been hand-selected and carefully cultivated to be only the friendliest and most down-to-earth people you will ever meet. We ONLY work with people who have a terrific sense of humor and are a delight to hang out with!

Unless you request additional stylists or a complicated shoot, you'll primarily be working solely with your photographer, Wendy. She will work with you to find your best angles, helping you pose to minimize the body parts you are less than comfortable with and maximize the body parts you want to shine.

We encourage you to drink lots of water and healthy snacks and ask for breaks whenever you need them. Often our clients wind up having so much fun at their sessions that they don't want to leave, and that will probably be the case with you as well.

We strongly discourage imbibing any alcoholic beverages during your session, as it can cause the skin to flush and the pores to enlarge in ways that are unflattering. We also want you to be able to drive safely home afterwwards!

We love having additional "eyes" on our shoots and have found that many times they can increase the quality of your photos. Friends and partners can also increase your comfort levels, and we definitely want you to feel as comfortable as possible.

However, if your children are not in the shoot, we do ask that you leave them with a sitter for the duration of your shoot, as our studio is not completely child-friendly, and we can't guarantee that any other venue will be either.

If you wish for your photos to remain private, please let us know prior to your shoot. When your photos are ready for viewing, you will receive an exclusive link and a password to your online gallery to view your photos. No one will be able to view your photos without that link and password. In addition, you will have the option to mark individual photos private in your gallery for additional protection.

At the moment, we provide digital images only. Once you pay for your photos, you will be able to download the full-sized photos and have them printed yourself. We are happy to recommend a printing service with reasonable prices and proven quality.

For a small fee, we are happy to order your prints for you as well.

Not to worry! We have a 100% happiness guarantee! If you hate every single one of your photos, we will reshoot your entire session for FREE. Also, if you dislike the edited version of your photos, we will re-edit them until you are happy with them. We want you to be THRILLED with your photos, and we will do everything in our power to ensure you are.

When it comes to our editing process, we take a light approach, as we want your photos to look like YOU. However, we do "clean up" things like blemishes and stray hairs. We can also remove undereye circles, brighten eyes and whiten teeth.

Beyond that, we can edit to your comfort level. Want a nip or tuck here and there? Just ask!

After that, we edit the photo to comply with the atmosphere or "mood" you're going for. Do you want light and airy or dark and moody? We can do that!

Also, since we specialize in the fantasy niche, we may edit to that level if that's the look you're going for.

Digital backdrops are essentially the background of a photo that can be added during the post-session editing process. For this reason, digital backdrops can usually only be used during in studio sessions.

During your shoot, we shoot in front of a flat backdrop. During the post-session editing, we then add in the backdrop that best matches whatever look and feel you're going for after your session, as we have an unlimited amount to choose from. Just tell us what you'd like, and we'll provide a number of them to for you choose from, altering our lighting to fit.

As an example of what a digital backdrop looks like, check out the three photos on our homepage. All of those photos were shot in studio on a flat background and the backgrounds were added in after the shoot.

Digital backdrops can be added in at no extra charge to you as long as you request them prior to your session.
